Replacing motorcycle seat covers is not very difficult, and doesn’t have to be very expensive. There are different places that you can go in order to get a new cover or a pad that can go over existing motorcycle seat covers.
For those who would just like to replace motorcycle seat covers that has been damaged or who would like to get a seat cover similar to the original one but in a different color, a company like B&H Specialties can be used. They make motorcycle seat covers for Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, and other miscellaneous bikes. You select the bike that you own, and then the color of the seat that you would like (out of 19 different color options) and you will get a price. The motorcycle seat covers made by this company will look similar to the originals but not necessarily identical, and most cost between $50 and $100.
One option for motorcycle seat covers that are meant to improve comfort is the Airhawk Air-Adjustable Seat Cushion. These are made in a number of different sizes (including medium and large cruiser seats, and small and large pillion seats) and consist of multiple air chambers you inflate to your desired level and an outer cover that is breathable and stretchable. There is also a mesh side panel so the seat is ventilated and won’t get too hot. They cost between $169 and $189.
The Pro Pad Top Pad Sheepskin Cover is another option for motorcycle seat covers. These come in a couple different sizes and colors, including one meant for large cruising bikes (16" wide and 18" long for $160, which also has a fabric option) and one meant for medium sized bikes (16"wide and 12" long for $140).
Motorcycle seat covers are also made with gel pads to make them more comfortable. Saddleman makes a few different options for Harleys that range in price from around $100 to around $150. They have a non slip bottom, and are filled with SaddleGel with a foam layer on top in order to maximize comfort. They come in medium, large and extra large versions.
